BUmped into Abner Mares last week at gym!

BUmped into Abner Mares last week at the gym... Youd be suprised to hear this was not at a boxing gym either.. I saw what looked like some teenage kid throwing combos in front of me next to the rowing machine.. Took a double take and i thought wait a minute:huh I go hey you box he said yey.. And before he said his name i go hey Abner Maresbbb.. So cool as this was at 24 hour fitness and the 2nd world champion(other former) ive seen at my gym in the last couple months.. Ponce Deleon was also training at my gym for a few weeks before he was robbed against that little ***** Broner:fire

Ok back to Mares totally super nice guy.. As we chopped it up for a while he asked if i would be there tomorrow and i said .. Yey he said he has a shirt for me... Long story short after more small talk he said.. Hey whens your workout over? Cause now that i think about it i have some shirts in my car.... He asked his conditioning coach another cool dude name Luis.. And he said after some ab work were done...

Awesome shirt says Team Mares on the front and its a LA dodger Blue colors with a red glove on the front.. And says LA on the back.

Chopped it up for a while and he left on Friday to Mexico (forgot which part) but hes training with Alfredo "El Perro" Angulo down there.. We talked for a while.. Walked to the parking lot with him to get a shirt dude has an awesom brand new Charcoal grey Jaguar.... Hell be back next month any question maybe i can answer as we talked for a while.

 

atschNa ****ed up man i didnt have my phone.. And i couldnt make it the next day.. I was gonna try and make it just for that.. He left to Mexico Friday..

I got a pic with Ponce though a couple months back.. Lost that phone thoughatsch ESB poster Ricardinho has it somewhere though.

 

I did he told me hes got buisness with Agbeko comin up.. .And that there already talking bout Nonito after.

 

The shirt is really nice.. Even nicer than i expected.. Although he was born in Mexico and represented them in the olympics, he is an LA dude through and through, the Shirt has LA thrown up in hand signs on the back, and looks very much like a LA Dodger shirt.

Abner looks pretty buffed too.. No way did he look like a 118 lbs.. Hes short dude(maybe 5-4 5-5 tops) but hes got big guns and said hes at about 135 or 140 right now(hes ripped though)..

I wouldnt underestimate him even if i didnt know who he was,,i would figure this little dude can packs a punch:bbb

 

STFU Tranny boy... I was a fan before i dont have to be star struck ive met,known,partied or trained with a good number of big named fighters. Cause ive actually boxed and live in a big boxing hotbed area (LA). Even met your idol u *******, and unlike you im not all on his nuts. Dont hate cuz you dont meet nobody,, dont you live in the middle of somewhere out in the desert? Maybe youll bump into Tim Bradley if you hit a gym sometime:roll:

Yey thanks, i already was a fan most here that have read my post now that i rate him very high.. Even got slack for rating him number 3 pfp among Mexican (and Mex Amer)fighters a couple weeks back. But i stick by that.. He told me he has sparred with Segura(who i have number2) and i get the feeling he had his way with him (he didnt say but he had a real confident smirk)....

I told him i go on ESB and he says he knows of this site.. Said they talk bad about some guys but never him.... He got a kick out of that one
