    Weights are a bad idea.

He should aim to get back to 130.

He did however for a man that hasn't fought much at 135, he had to strip naked to make the weight against Katsidis.

He def. wasn't anywhere near to looking "cut" at 135.

He should try and get a fight with Burns, whether Burns beats Martinez or not. Mitchell is not much above that level IMO, although 130 is fairly barren at the mo' (not big on Linares at all) although that might change if some of the immense talent at 126 outgrows the division.

I'm not certain I would favour 135 Kev against fringe contenders like Iron Chin Kim or Escebedo, as I consider Prescott at least a rung below them and it's quite clear he isn't ready for the likes of Katsidis/Marquez.

Kev has a tattoo on his arm saying something like "fights are won and lost away from the public eye ..... in the gym blah blah". I am sure he got that so he could look at it every morning and remember why he has to train hard. Maybe he can get one of Kats on the other arm in case its still not clear enough. But he is young and we have all f::::d up, so good luck to him. I hope he can come back, one bad night does not make him a bad fighter

I disagree. He looked on a completly different level to Katsidis.

Really? I thought he was completely outclassed to be honest. He was like a rabbit caught in headlights when Katsidis stepped up the pressure.

have to disagree, mitchell was pushed back by every decent shot katsidis landed, even a round before the stoppage

to me Kevin was doing well to actually stay safe in opening exchanges. He was fighting scared from get go. His jab wasn't flung with authority. He was backed up easily at times and i could see he didn't know how to get away from Katsidis when under pressure. Outclassed.
