WSB sounds great, just think of the apprenticeship they will be serving before the Olympics and turning pro.

*Mike Costello is quality, I think he would be great in the sky commentary box or studio.

I;ve just made a thread on the general: "Bob Arum: Mosely, Cotto and Pac would beat Mayweather"

I disagree with buncey a bit on that. I think wsb is a lot easier for tv execs to get their head round than super six. It would fit in with BBC who are obsessed with anything building to 2012. Plus they don't have to deal with a fat bloke in polo shirt.

His verdict, unsurprisingly, did seem a little harsh. :D

I pre-recorded BBC London earlier and that went out at 8-9pm!
It had good stuff on Tyson, Danny Williams and Nathan Cleverly.
The Five Live stuff with Maloney was legend.
Enjoy both and see you Tuesday!

    Adios.

Very good show today, Buncey. I really enjoyed it. The talk of the beeb covering the Valuev-Haye fight live on the radio really made me think about the beeb's commitment to boxing. Obviously they feel boxing deserves coverage and live coverage at that- the beeb's radio coverage is quite substantial. That said, why not fork out the extra money for a TV deal? This fight would have been huge on the BBC and it's a shame that Booth had to go to SBO in the end, IMO:conf.

Ive only listened to the Maloney piece so far and it was pretty hard listening...Gotta be hitting him hard and seeing himself being blamed cant help at all.

It seems the family need to put the blame onto someone, they are better off grieving in private....blaming Maloney wont help them get through this grief.

My goodness, I canot believe that Costello guy said Pacquiao isnt a heavy hitter:patsch

Its left me speechless that one, & just as I was regaining my balance I was floored again with Buncey refusing to be part of the 5 live commentary team if Hatton laces up the gloves again? Mellowdramatic madness.

I enjoyed listening to the show, but the Hatton segment had me shaking my big scottish head in disbelief, stupid comments from both men.

& what about that female host & her mocking chuckling trying to get rid of Arum? Clueless & classless.
