    You did get the sense that when he was asking that bloke questions about scrabble that he didnt have the same enthusiasm as he does when he talks boxing:lol:

    This is garbage so far. Just talk about statues outsides amateur gyms.

    The statue is to honour a fighter called Teddy Baldock, who won a version of the world title when he was 19. He won the title over 80 years ago. He had to leave Poplar in east London and fight in America for a time - including the south Bronx. He deserves recognition.
    Also, the show is part of BBC London's output and that is why there is travel, news and previews of the rugby show.

    i really enjoyed it...a fantastic piece on teddy balcock...i'm going to get the book now...i'd love to know more about him..
    also, the kirkland laing book sounds interesting...another stocking filler for meself methinks.

    pity katie taylor didnt get herself on...cause she's great...we're all very very proud of her over here..

    yes...i enjoyed that show.
