I for one do not understand the abuse Bunce receives on here, did he bang some of you lots missus or something?

Apart from the fact he works for W-arren and holds back what he really feels because of the job. Bunce always comes across as a decent man, who doesn't want any trouble, as shown by his interview with Bernard in Philadelphia all those years ago.

Oddly enough most of the jokes I hear come via Northern Ireland.

Buncey gets sued by Frank....gets a job offer and kisses his arse, shameful stuff.

Bums Tyson Fury for years, talks of how Tyson is a future HW champion, goes to BN and all of a sudden he's talking shite about Fury because Price is fighting on Boxnation.

Buncey simply cannot be respected anymore, his opinion is FAR too biased.

 

I'm torn with my opinion on Buncey.

On one hand I really like the fella, he can be funny, he knows his boxing and know one can deny his enthusiasm!

On the other hand even is strongest supporters (of which I consider myself) cannot deny that since the start of Boxnation his views have changed somewhat and he definitely isn't as strong in his opinions regarding fighters from the FW stable.

The basic problem is that it is a conflict of interests.

Surely nobody can deny the man the opportunity to earn a living, and any one who says otherwise is a fool, a liar or both!

But...............

A sports journalist is not the ideal choice for a main anchor on a pay subscription sports channel, he is never going to feel comfortable or confident to express negative views regarding his employer.

There is of course a place for him on the channel but in his current position his loyalties are clearly divided.
