Bunce: "Froch Would Be Too Much For Pavlik At 168"

I wouldn't be surprised. But i'm certainly not going to bet on it. I've heard Pascal has been rocked quite a few times by journeymen and that his defense isn't as good as he'd like to think it is. I'm going with Froch by 4th-5th round KO.

 

Too early,by the 4th or 5th Froch will be just figuring him out

I'd also like to state again that Froch cannot afford to lose this fight. Pascal can. He's young enough to make a legit comeback. But Froch will have a whole lot of work to do if he fails at his first big hurdle.

I find the hype surrounding Froch incredible. At the moment, no other boxer gets so much hype having achieved so little.

I think it would be a competitive fight as i have stated before Pavlik is not as physically strong or imposing at 168/170 as he was/is at 160.

Not that i am saying Froch is any good as i think he has a big opinion of himself yet he hasnt fought anyone of merit.

I think Pavlik has had a hard time since he won the title, he won the title at 160.

Then he had to move up to super middleweight for a rematch with Taylor.

Then he took a fight against Hopkins at 170 which anyone with any kind of knowledge must have seen that it wouldnt suit Kelly to be fighting at that weight.

Back to Froch being too much for Pavlik i think the jury is out on that one and we will know alot more about Froch on how he performs against Pascal.

 

2 months ago on this site Pavlik was the master. He get schooled by a legend and now he can't be froch. You gottta be froch'in kidding me. Froch hasn't froch'n fought anybody.
