A few have complained about the selections...I said all the time that I would make my selections. How can you pick, I mean really pick, between Naz and Nelson/Sanchez or Arguello. Or, Benn v Calzaghe/Carter/Monzon.

i thought i read at the start of the competition that calzaghe was not allowed because he was too recently retired. i guess that bit got lost between all the different forums and websites.

 

When Lockett fought Pavlik was the FW/Setanta deal in place? Lockett was a FW fighter but Setanta showed it.

I thought my pick of Calzaghe v Bob Foster would've won a dvd, nevamind. I must've sent in twenty or so.

Anyway the dvd is on a certain site you might wanna play at for under a score. five discs, nine hours - the missus will chop me if i buy it!

I thought competative fights between quality boxers would have won, half of them were pretty one sided affairs.
In regards to foster vs calzaghe bob foster would have koed calzaghe withing 10 rounds imo.

for those who are disappointed at not winning the dvd. from reading reviews of the dvd appearently their is only one new disc.

its basically includes these 3 dvds which were released before
The best of prince Nassem" "Ricky the hitman Hatton" and the "Joe Calzaghe super champion", and a previously unreleased dvd where warren talks about the best british fighters. its basically some of warren's dvd's bundled together in a boxset.

i have the 3 dvds already mentioned and i only found this out after i entered the competition. if i had won i propably would have got onto them to see if they could just send out the disc i did not have.

its basically another fast one from frankie boy. i do not want to buy the dvd for one disc. i read a few reviews where people were taking back the dvd because they had most of the stuff on it already.

id need to know what is on the unreleased disc and it would need to be very cheap.

or else i could buy it and sell the dvd's i already have.

 

On the cover it says includes Khan, Bruno, Collins, Eubank and many more so I guess that's what'll be on the last disk.

 

id like to thank buncey for having the competition. i was going to buy the dvd but i heard about the competiion so held off. i would have got the dvd without knowing what was on it. saved me a few quid and a bit of hassle. would be stupid having the same dvds twice. its well disguised what is on it judging by the cover.

at least if i choose to buy now i know the situation. would have felt conned if i got it and discovered i have most of it already.

 

What a con. It's £17.99 on some of the sites. I never knew it contained those dvds, crikey I've got two of them. I never knew that.

If Setanta show the MSG undercard that's always something coz Duddy v Vanda wont be a sweet science fight but it'll be entertaining.

 

thanks ishy - would not sursprise me if it was bruno v mcall , collins v eubank etc. i have nearly all of khans fights.

definetely not going to get it now - would be only getting it to listen to frank's view , which is propably already in the public domain and not really worth listening to.

ps i think there was a warren dvd before called best of boxing which i have. would not sursprise me one bit if that dvd made up the fourth disc. i buy most of the boxing dvds that come out.

again i'd like to thank buncey because i would propably have already got the dvd if i had not heard of the comp.

was a good competition. for people complaining about the comp , can you imagine how hard it was to pick 8 winners out of 3000 fights. was there 3000 seperate fights or was that every persons fight added up.

buncey , can you explain how you picked the 8. was it the first people who sent in their views of the fights you liked or did people have to have a unique fight that no else picked that you liked. were there fights that only one person picked. there were so many options.

also buncey did you say duddy v vanda was live on saturday night. would be disappointed to not see cotto. but seeing the pavlik and duddy fights would be worth staying up for. at least the duddy fight gives us a fight most people would be interested in. the pavlik undercard is crappy enough.
