Buncey knows Haye has no chance of beating Vitali. He's hyping the fight for his pal so he can get another pay day. Just like he said Harrison had a chance against Haye.

"there was a disturbing moment when, under no pressure, he fell over like he'd been hit by a bullet from a sniper's gun."

    That sounds familiar...

    Shocking post.

Mcbride/Audley - "a significant notch above Audley" :patsch. When Adamek fought him he was coming off a 3 year 'retirement', had lost 4 of his last 5, and only got to the semis of prizefighter. Oh and was as in-shape as a ****ing pork pie. Audley, despite what people think, is an Olympic gold medallist, former European champion and won prizefighter.

Arreola/Valuev - Arreola is another pork pie who had just been destroyed physically and mentally by Vitali. His best asset is his chin - Valuev's is better. Arreola's best win? Walker/Mccline/Minto?? Valuev's Mccline/Ruiz/Barrett and Holyfield :)roll:). They're both **** but I don't think Adamek beats Valuev tbh.

Golota (2009)/ Ruiz (2010) - Golota was blown away (again!) by Ray Austin of all people, shortly before he fought Adamek. Golota was sooo shot it was ridiculous. Ruiz, while over the hill, was a decent, durable fighter; not to mention he was a mandatory. Ruiz beat Golota years ago - he would've destroyed him in 2009.

Grant (2010)/Barrett (2008) - Grant was ten years past his prime and arguably hadn't beaten anyone good since what Golota in '99?? Barrett was on a mini run of quick KOs, decent gatekeeper, and has a good win post Haye.

Bonin is about the level of Estrada and Maddalone too.

Out of the four only one pair is relatively close - Arreola/Valuev. Haye has the superior HW record, no doubt.

No, Germany all the way...why complicate matters...Haye can fight Fury for 180,000 pounds in his backyard, satisfy a dozen purists or fly to Germany enter the ring to 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot' and make over 4 million....I'm there and I'm not joking!!!

    Adios.

That and the ones above him got destroyed or were inactive like Povetkin and were moved down. Not to mention his stellar record in the lower weights putting away the best of those divisions.

They're pretty similar records really lets not kid ourselves. Tbh I don't like the idea of arguing in favor of anybody who's best win at heavy is either Valuev or Arreola, both are disgraceful nothing fighters. It's making me feel quite dirty actually.

Why get your knickers in a twist over a fighter being one, or two or three...the BBBofC does not have rankings...rankings are put together mostly by people like you and me: passionate fools, in other words. And, by people with an agenda...I've ignored ALL rankings since I started writing about the business back in the early Eighties...don't even get me started on 'punch stats' or dvd fight collectors!
I was also, briefly, the President of the WBO's ratings! It was, trust me, a misunderstanding one drunken night. Anyway, it nearly got me sacked from the Daily Telegraph in about 1990 when Mickey Duff wrote, sent the latest ranking with 'Steve Bunce (UK) President of Rankings' printed at the top and complained!

    Adios.

Sure, David has the talent and some of the tools to beat Wlad and Vitali. He doesn't have the mindset and that lost him the first fight with Wlad. After the Solis fight I thought Vitali looked old and suspect. His sharpness does not seem there. Against Adamek he looked to be finding it tough to land one good shot at a time. Luckily he is so big and powerful that he still battered him.

Haye shouldn't get another title shot. He needs to beat a Povetkin or someone to become relevant again. However I would still want to watch him vs Vitali cos the division is so dire and Haye was a legit cruiser champ and a good heavyweight champ despite some bs here and there.

Vitali vs David in Wembley. I can see it now!
