I've been in hard negotiations with old Shirley over the last few days and have managed to secure his services for my Hard Knocks bill on July 11 at Kensington Town Hall. Alongside his partner in crime Andy Kerr (who will be emceeing the event), Buncey will answer questions from the audience, speak to a couple of special guests and who knows maybe even indulge in a rant or two. "The Return" bill also sees The Mongolian Warrior Choi Tseveenpurev step back in the ring for the first time in 15 months, the Albanian icon Kreshnik Qato, the flash and dash of debutant Junior Saeed and welterweight prospect Nathan Graham. An event not to be missed. Tickets £30, £40, £75 available at McCahills Bar in Paddington, The Real Fight Club in Liverpool Street, The Peacock Gym in Canning Town or for more ticket information go to www.hardknocksboxing.com.
Spencer as you already know, if I had the money I would have went. Although I would not worry, you will get a big crowd anyway, and with this announcement even more people will be going. :good
I am free to go but my two boxing buddies who normally go can't (one is grounded as his missus just gave birth) and the other one is away on hols. So Billynomates here can't go!
I can't remember seeing Spencer in a suit all those years back. Back the odd times I did, they did tend to be memorable
All the best with that Spencer, good to see someone giving the fans what they want instead of the **** served up by FW, Henessay and the others. I wish you had a TV deal even if it was with a channel like eurosport. Would give your shows some exposure and fans who cant get to venues a chance to watch real fights.
