hahahahaha.. so you dont beleive cortez deserves criticism after the soto/lorenzo fight? if you dont then your not a true boxing fan... he discraced the sport
How many would you like? There's four, since I have a life and have better things to do than spend all day posting at ESB I'll leave it there. I know this is an internet forum and the people here don't make any difference to your life but being polite costs nothing.
Obviously you didn't read the posts that prompted two of those but thats cool. I take on board what you say.:good
I agree entirely. Obviously judgement calls have to be made, but generally on things like holding/breaking they should have their own interpretation and not swing wildly in style from fight to fight.
I agree, I've nothing against Robbo and agree with him on the Cortez issue but it really pisses me off when people take that angle in arguments. You may as well just say "anyone who doesn't agree with me is wrong".....
Cobbs, I been posting here for years. I watch most boxing. & always have an opinion backed up by facts. Once again you jump to assumptions to beat me in an argument. Of course I seen the fight. I dont see all fights right on time, but my real life boxing buddies always make sure the fights are recorded, & I always get to see them. All fighters who interest me from a scottish perspective, big & small. You think I didnt see the fight? Well then, lets discuss in detail. Over to you. Should be fun for you, if I didnt see the fight. It wont be fun for you though. Cos I did. Lets discuss anyway. Now cast the first stone, if you dare.
We were already discussing it. Feel free to join in? Can you explain why Cortez twice jumped in between the fighters and stopped the action while Soto was getting on top? How do you explain his statement that he was already going to stop the fight before the punch that Soto was dq'd for, but he then let Lorenzo sit around bleeding for five minutes before he actually did stop the fight and got him some medical attention? Why the multiple contradictions in Cortez's interview? Do you not find it a little nauseating that his main priority is to make sure he gets his catchphrase into the interview?
