We need a campaign to get Curtis a fight in Driffield. Outdoor event at the show ground in the summer Curtis?
Very good show as always and I think it is great that any boxer has a shot at getting an appearance on the show, i.e. from journeymen, under card fighters to champions. It is a live show, so it isnt going to be flawless every week - the old Setanta show was wild at times but it was great, so is this.
I dont think it has anything to do with Hearn. Froch apparently is reluctant to do interviews close to fight time, but it is part of the job - if he wants to become a bigger name then it works both ways - he needs be more flexible with media requests. Just my tuppence worth.
Didn't the Hearns bar their fighters from appearing on BoxNation, even the Boxing Hour? Froch needs all the press he can get. He's lucky Showtime pay his wages.
I am not sure mate, I know some of the Sky fighters were told not to go on the channel, but didnt hear which ones. Buncey plugs Prizefighter all the time on the Boxing Hour.
Anwar can win Prizefighter, his amateur pedigree and all round ability makes it such a great chance to show all what he can do...:deal Come on Eddie, make it happen...:happy
yeh both sides at fault. Buncey didn't need to start opening his mouth about Sky 6 months back. Remember he was doing to odd clip on ringside. My mate told me the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight wasn't mentioned once is that true?

My door at BoxNation is open. I questioned the top bananas at SKY about Froch being invisible last year - it was clearly not the thing to do. It was a journalistic shout. I still mention SKY fighters and SKY. The two clips were grabs and not the same as appearing on Ringside or being involved in a broadcast. Nobody is being childish, it's just business from their side and I respect that. Gas, We were watching a clip of the Setanta boxing hour yesterday and in one twenty minute random clip two of the pictures on screen were wrong and one of the names was the wrong spelling. Last night was a nightmare with people not picking up phones and then putting down phones. Great! Adios.
I had it 115-113 in favour of Marquez. 1. Pacquiao 2. Marquez 3. Pacquiao 4. Marquez 5. Marquez 6. Marquez 7. Marquez 8. Marquez 9. Marquez 10. Pacquiao 11. Pacquiao 12. Pacquiao I think people that have it by more then 4 or 5 rounds are giving Marquez bonus points for doing better than they expected. You don't get extra points for doing what people didn't expect you to do. And you don't get extra points for winning rounds more clearly, which Marquez did. He won his rounds clearer. I think the first could be given even. There wasn't much in that one at all. Pacquiao was falling short for the most part, his body rhythm was off and Marquez was dictating the pace and controlling distance. He was the superior ring general. Pacquiao did rally in the championship rounds though. The irony is Pacquiao probabily did better in the first two fights when he was more reckless. He fell into the trap of him improving so much (which he has done) and tried to out think Marquez. As a result he gave Marquez too much time to think and dictate the action, while in the first two fights his aggression was more of a factor because he carried Marquez faster then he wanted to fight. He got hit with more power punches, but also had more success himself. Marquez doesn't have the best defensive reflexes and struggles more when you carry him too fast. That's when you increase your chances of getting a KD or outworking him.
