Its the job of any person anchoring a show whether it be sport, political or otherwise to ask the questions that the public are thinking but are not in a position to ask. Buncey asking Katsidis if he has overlooked Burns isn't a personal question or even Buncey's opinion on the matter. You ask what the people are talking about. After fighting the level of opposition that Katsidis has, people are going to think he might be overlooking Burns and the thought crossed my mind when the fight was made. I want to know as do thousands of others im sure is he overlooking him but im not in a position to ask Michael Katsidis that. Steve Bunce is. He did his job Billy, thats all.

Maybe he was just trying to rally some support from the nuetrals?

I'm English.. but will be supporting Burns, even given he isn't a favourite. I met him outside the Echo before his last fight. Sound lad and made a bit of time for me.. despite him being exhausted after the weigh in and his trainer holding a massive bag of greggs that he was about to tuck into!

I don't underdstand some of the bitterness shown between England-Scotland. It's the same in football... Scotland never want us to succeed in a World Cup, for example - just because they didn't qualify. ****ing bitterness if you ask me. I won't cheer on Katsidis just due to the nationalities!

People don't want England to succeed in the final of the Euro's, and the World Cup because the media go way over the top on the team and the team indulge the media and are naive enough to buy into it. Believe me i really couldn't care less that they are English and wouldn't want them to fail for been a certain nationality. But when it comes to football the way the media and team carry themselves reeks of arrogance. Until that changes, thats why i want to see them lose. The fans aren't a bad buch though, most of em.

Mate, I can sympathise with that. Fair enough.

It's a ****ing nightmare in itself being English and a football fan at the moment - the national team is farcical at times.

I think Katsidis sympathises with English fans due to the Mitchell win. I think he won a lot of support that night. Also, there was the Earl fight over here too. He obviously gets a lot of respect from fans over here. It all might be a bit of a psychological thing, getting the fans on his side before the bout. IMO there will be a lot of nuetrals. Should be a good one.
