dont take the **** I'm just making a point that if Haye wasnt there (which he shouldnt have been IMO), sod all would have happened. Even though he was there to chase Vitali, Wlad told him to stay away as Chisora would kick off. Like i said tho, I really dont mind the post fight stuff. It drums up a bit of hype, and everyone is now talking about HW boxing. The spit was beyond over the top. That is what he should be fined for IMO
Chisora needs to take responsibility for his actions. I hate hearing grown adults saying "keep such and such away from me or I won't be held responsible for my actions!" How about you act like a ****ing adult and keep your emotions in check? Unfortunately, Dan, they're not talking about the fight, which was the least competitive thing about the weekend. If they were I'd be full of sunshine. But Del didn't deserve a shot at Vitali and he doesn't deserve a shot at Haye, until y'know, he actually wins a fight against a decent opponent.
Deep and dark tales being told tonight. Frank says that if he had been at the weigh in the slap may not have happened, he would have stood between them. He asks where was the security where was someone between them. I ask Frank, where were your sons or your right hand man Dean Powell, they were there.
I totally agree he needs to take responsiblity for his actions. And i think he has. 'I wholeheartedly apologise for my actions' i think his words were, whereas Haye blamed everyone but himself for the altercation. I dont particularly think boxers need to keep emotions in check. A scuffle at the weigh in is what builds fights. What they cant do is spit at people like an animal. Chisora perhaps didnt deserve the fight. But he put up a better show than Adamek, and he has a better win at the weight (Helenius) than our Polish friend as well. As for Haye - Chisora. Both have now lost to a klit. Neither like each other. And the fight would be a massive event now as the whole world knows about their brawl. The fight needs to happen IMO. I'm yet to be convinced Haye deserves a shot at Vitali after his last performance
I dont think they should sweep it under the carpet. A fine needs to happen for the spit. I wouldnt like to see a ban personally. But if there is one, it certaintly shouldnt be a lifetime ban.
Getting the feeling Vano would defend Chisora and Mitchell even if they killed someone. Haye wants to fight Vitali and Povetkin doesn't, that's why one was there and one wasn't.
Thought the first 45 minutes of the show were outstanding tonight. Gave everything plenty of time. I was glued to it. Would have preferred no Colin Hart but he did at least offer some counter points
