That's just not true. There's a good mix of posters on this site. People will treat you the way you want to be treated. If you treat the forum like a place full of people on the wind up then that's what kind of forum it will be for you.

You don't have to be boring and serious all the time but you also don't have to act like a twat all the time either. I treat other posters like I treat people in life generally. I don't find that particularly difficult to do. Be courteous and respectful, don't go around attacking people and being disrespectful. How hard is that? It doesn't matter if it's just some regular guy or a minor celebrity.

Why some people feel the need to come on forums and be aggressive and confrontational to people I have no idea. Perhaps to make up for some sort of deficiencies they have in their normal day to day lives.

 

To be fair to the forum, there are a lot of funny people on here and on slow days where there's not many good threads or the haters are out in force its a welcome relief sometimes.
You know what sort of thread its going to be by the poster making it and you post accordingly.

this. I had no problem with him becong a walking Box Nation billboard but don't try and slag everybody else off and claim to tell it how it is.

the fact that he no longer posts here to me shows that he recognised the critics to be just.

 

There's a recurring theme with you and anyone connected with the sport that posts here!

we can all become a bit biased though, I have been hanging around this forum like a bad smell for almost a decade & I could count on one finger the posters I have met who dont throw their morals out of the window when the right opportunity arises...
What i like about Bunce is that hes not perfect, man, I have had my rants about him in the past! He treats boxing fans with respect though, gives 'em a platform to speak their minds & gives them a shout out on TV!!!

Just like Matt Lucas being chased off twitter though, Buncey too is just a human being & we all have our breaking points.

Buncey has our dream job as it were, if hes annoyed he should always remember thats why he gets the stick, cos everyone who posts here basically wants to have his job. IMO.

 

Have to say if it wasn't for the two steve's on box nation talking about this forum one night a while back I wouldn't have joined up or even knew this forum existed.

I may disagree with some of the stuff Bunce waffles on about at times but he's honest and very much a say what he means during that moment type of person. He's not just a face and figurehead for box nation but a bloody good boxing journalist whose passionate and knows quite a bit about the sport of boxing.

He's good for the sport overall and is doing a grand job on what I would class as a tv channel on the rise. But Frank ****** hit the nail in the head here on this weeks boxing hour he said: "there is a small minority of people who will constantly knock what you're doing and no matter what you do the haters will still hate what you're doing regardless". or words to that effect? I think that is very apt for this situation involving ESB & Bunce.

I'll probably get some flack now for praising Bunce & Box Nation. So be it!

But, before you do PLEASE REMEMBER: I'm just like you = a boxing fan at the end of the day,

 

I think it's importance to not start a "when Bunce started at BoxNation" myth - he's always spouted an offensive amount of bollocks.
