Other than he's Brit fighter, I'm not particulary a Haye fan. My angle on that situation is simply "don't hate the player, hate the game".;)

I'd imagine Lewis Hamilton or Jenson Button would win it if either one of them win the Formula One title, especially Button seeing as it would be 2 in a row for him.

Is she at the Commonwealths? If she is and gets gold there then she won't be fair off.

If only the grand national was later in the year then he would be a serious contender. I just dont think its as fresh in the publics mind. The guy should of at least won it once over the past 15 years....

Ennis deserved better last year really with the Worlds Gold medal. Gets my vote for being fit. If you think thats me being a chavanist stop being a silly little whining girly

Again im no golf nut but thought McDowell won a major in the states plus the Ryder decider. Westwood had a good season i hear but guess he chokes in majors?

Dont rule out the giggesque Scholes vote btw

Taylor and McCoy are only ones who genuinely deserve it.

I think 50/1 Haye and 100/1 Khan for two world champions is bordering on disrespectful to boxing.

I made the suggestion that we back Haye because:

    a) a tenner returns £510
    b) we can all vote and influence it
    c) it would be good for BOXING

I read so many posts on here talking about the lack of publicity for the sport, but when an opportunity arrives to support it in the mass media, there are some who prefer to slag off the individuals rather than back the whole sport.

In this instance it's Haye, but could be any british boxer. His fight just coincides with the vote, but if Khan was fighting in Britain in November I'd be all over that 100/1 too

I'm not sure about Phil Taylor, he's not really a personality is he?

But then again neither was Ryan Giggs, it was more of a sentimental award and should have been like a lifetime achievement award really.

If he was on the BBC he might have more of a chance..... but he'd **** the BDO with his eyes closed.
