I have good and bad news depending on how full your glass is! William Hill (the company that pays for Buncey's Boxing Podcast) has decided it can't justify a weekly look at boxing betting. However, there is a genuine desire to continue the podcast for the 'big' fights. Without going into the details, the margins on the kind of bills we have this Friday on Sky don't make it pay for the company. We're drawing up a list of the upcoming big fights and, when I have a few months' worth, I'll publish it on here for anyone who is interested. Thanks for all your support so far and look out for the posts or stay subscribed to iTunes - I'll use the same links. Lee
As someone who doesn't bet a penny on anything but listens to the podcast when I can, I understand why they are stopping it. I'm one of the leeches who has made the podcast 'unjustifiable'. It's a shame as it was a good listen. RIP Boxing Podcast:-(. May your soul be at peace with Setanta.
You just brought tears to my eye's. I don't think I will ever quite get over Setanta not being on. It literally ruined my life them taking it off! I may go to church this week and light a candle for Setanta. RIP my friend!!!
surprised by this, Buncey gave such bad betting advice that i thought William Hill would of been making a killing
It was the anti-betting podcast...I had a bad week last week, but in general I only lost my punters 80 percent of what they bet! Thanks for listening and adios.
That is shocking. I must admit im not a betting man but the boxing podcast was a little highlight in my week. Dog****.
just view it as a monthly podcast from now on ... and then sometimes you'll get extra! (i'm a positive thinking kind of person)
Enjoyed the regular podcasts but can quite understand that bills like this weekends don't pay the bills for Bill Hills. There should be enough to justify some decent shows and maybe a better phone line for buncey for the fights coming up for Haye, Froch, Khan, Mitchell from UK at least.
if anyone in the London area would be up for setting up a boxing podcast to be distributed on itunes, let me know.
