It's clear Eddie has serious issues with BoxNation. I don't why though, the creation of the channel has allowed him to prosper on SKY.

 

Funny thing is Maloney has said he needs a Price win on Saturday cos if he don't it may mean Sky walk away from him.

So Boxnation give Ringside footage of their fights, and Sky wont even let a fighter come on Boxnation and peddle the same boring lines most of them do?

Eddie snipes at BoxNation every chance he gets although it is usually to followers on twitter. These were off the top of my head.

Maybe mocking was the wrong word, but when asked which channel his fights are on he responds 'well it's in HD'. I just feel he could be less sarky.

 

Bunce is no better, its bull**** really petty snipes back and forth, I wish they would all shut the **** up and get on with making decent fights, if that means working together, suck it up and get on with it.

 

I don't see the point in Maloney blocking a Price appearance on Boxnation so it's clearly a Sky issue. Sky clearly are praying Boxnation goes south and they/Hearn hoover up a few of Frank's fighters. If Hatton signs with Channel 5 I would hope he would allow his fighters on all platforms to hype his shows.

If it is true that Eddie Hearn has instructed/ordered his fighters not to appear on Boxnation then it is pathetic, and sums up the problem with boxing today. The reluctance/refusal of rival promoters to work with each other is often preventing the very best match-ups from being made.

How ridiculous it is to prevent boxers from promoting their upcoming fights on a rival channel! It's good of Buncey to offer to do so, and for me shows the difference between Sky's and Boxnation's attitude towards the noble art; Boxnation like all boxing, regardless of it being shown on their channel, they are not fixed to just one promoter and don't rule out working with anyone. Sky on the other had have a very limited stable now and seem completely reluctant to accept much beyond their channel.

I'm really not convinced Eddie is a good for boxing as some suggest; why would he not want a dedicated boxing channel to work? Surely if it's a success it's the best thing for the fans? He doesn't want it to work because he's not associated with it; this is fine I suppose, but he's not really thinking of what is best for the sport.

This whole situation is childish and pathetic and I can only hope that the boxers themselves start to take more control of the situation and insist that they are matched with whoever they want, regardless of promotional issues.

I always feel it's tongue-in-cheek with Bunce. Eddie though seems to have real issues with BoxNation. Banning his fighters from the channel is a serious move.
