Bundrage-Kirkland being considered

About damn time someone legit takes on Bundrage and takes that title away from him. This fight is Kirkland's for the taking... he'd just better not do something stupid like run directly into one of K-9's right hands. Then again, if he does we could have ourselves another knockdown fest considering both guys have extremely dentable chins.

'Shaky' is about the best chin upgrade you could give them. Neither guy is very hard to hurt or put down. If both guys manage to land their best punches and make a fight out of it then I could see both going down more than once in this fight.

Kirkland is the ****!! You guys need to give props. he acutally boxes better then most boxers in the sport today. Hes got a great jab, straight lefts, one of the best uppercuts in the sport today. K-9 doesnt land 3 rounds with him.

 

For **** sake is it not possible that Kirkland's loss to Ishida was not a clear representation of his whole career so far!? I mean he got knocked down and got up to win mid way against a huge puncher in Angulo - this is why I would be hesitant to call him glass jawed.

IMO Kirkland runs through this little man Bundrage like a train. Canelo and Kirkland should get it on after.

 

No fighter with a pulse wants to fight him, do you think is easy to find a decent fighter to face Lara?

 

Trout's been calling out everybody, including Lara. Trout has no following, no exposure, he was happy to get on Shobox.

Trout-Lara is a great fight and considering GBP now has a direct loop to Showtime, this fight needs to be made.

I like for Kirkland to get a title... Bundrage is just a casualty. Kirkland gets amped over 10 round fights with BUMS. Imagine his mindstate in his first title fight? Kirkland by devastation that may be so bad they might consider it a parole violation.

 

So, Kirkland's getting a title in his next fight.

 

why so funny? If he was given a title shot after being knocked out, then that would be a joke. But he beat as legit a contender as there is and since there are 4 or 8 titles each division, it's no surprise. Who's a better title challenger Kirkland or Mike Marrone or Eromosele Albert or Cedric Boswell?

 

Let's not forget that Kirkland' swin over Angulo was a title eliminator (for Alvarez's strap). He has enough credentials to fight for a title. Any boxing fan should be happy to have that belt out of Bundrage's hands.
