    Can someone knowledgeable enough clear up the air about Charley Burley apparently regularly taking on heavyweights.

    How many did he really fight ?
    Who were they ?
    How good were they ?
    Is the fact that he took on those heavyweights is now loosely overrated/underrated ?

    in Britain this was probably more expect than anywhere else in the Boxing world during the 1920s, 30s and 40s.

    Top British middleweights and L-HWs repeatedly stretched themselves against Top HWs.
