or that left hook did some damage prior ?? Im hearing other opinions that he might be faking, I thought it was a genuine muscle pull, the way he pulled his right leg round just before going down looked awkward as ****, like unnatural movement that could throw a joint or muscle out watching the replay. What you's saying ???
Looked legit to me. Hard to say if the prior punch had any effect on it but I don't think it's fake, you can tell by the way he went down and then boxed the rest of the round, was took out on a stretcher. Aside from Tyson, no one would want to be in a fight with a back injury, hinders everything you do.
I think it is legit. You have to be a real ***ot to fake an injury like that in a pizefight. He was going to lose the fight, imho, but things were not that bad at this point. Maybe it hurt and he could have continued at 99% and decided not to? well, maybe, but I dont think he was faking the injury. He just got lucky and spared a beating.
lmao. Why faking an injury in R4 after winning two of four rounds and having a legit shot at winning the fight? He wasn't even hurt by Donaire yet. This is nonsens.
No way a fake injury. He was on top, and doing well. You dont quit a fight until your mental strength\Soul has been taken by your opponent and she was 100% in that fight from a mental perspective. Genuine Injury.
Really. Some actually question whether he was injured. Exactly what benefit is there for Burnett faking an injury losing his title and going out of the tournament? There is no upside
Because Donaire had started touching him up, and one of those body shots made him lose his right testicle, and a portion of his heart.
Ill give him the benefit of the doubt. He doesn’t seem like a quitter the fight was competitive so not sure why he quit. Unfortunate for the young man.
He faked it, he was panicked cuz he heard the Whyte Chisora tickets were selling like 5 Deontay Wilder fights all put together and didnt want to miss out on his fairly priced ringside tickets.
Utter trollop. He took clean shots after the injury and doesn't mind getting touched up. Was a competitive fight but Burnett seems like he has a truck load of fighting spirit, just plain old bad luck
Why he continued afterwards, took some clean shots to the head and body (without going down) and was even willed to fight but his trainer pulled him off? No way he faked it.
