I've already adressed the point mate mate the fight was only 4 rounds old thats all. Even if you did belive he was being outboxed(which I dont belive he was)

I'm not trying to big Broner up too make Burns look better. FFS I get it in the ear from the Jocks saying I'm anti scottish on here.

Point 3 the only reason the fight was exciting is cos your man was down every 2 minutes against knockout artist Adamek.

    You ***

Boxrec also has Vitali Klitschko P4P #3, David Haye #6 at Heavy, Lucian Bute #1 at Super-midde... I could go on all day.

Broner is not #1 at 130.

It still carries it's weight. Kickett is poor fighter, and in the opinion of many, Kickett was getting the better of him in the early goings of there fight. Fair enough if you disagree, they were close rounds, but the fact that Kickett had his successes is fairly worrying.

Why big up Broner then? He looked poor against a blown up Ponce De Leon, arguably losing, and did the same against Fernando Quintero, who came in on 4 days notice and clearly wasn't correctly conditioned for the bout. That's 2 relatively average fighters he has debateably lost to. Hardly inspiring work from the Brone man.

I don't remember him going down 23 times? :huh

That's a damn exciting fight IIRC. Don't know why you're trying to take a dig at Cunningham (pretty sad that, mate). His fight with Adamek was a FOTY candidate and a good back and forth fight with top notch exchanges between the 2. The fact that USS was dropped several times, yet still made the fight close adds to the drama.

    :good

23? It s not just reading the liverpool education board struggle with is it? 23? down every two minutes would be 18 in a 36 minute fight, unless he kept falling off his stool. So your man makes the fight close after being down 3 times, but Ponce clearly beat Broner? :happy

I don't get your second point? I never said Ponce clearly beat Broner, and I don't see how that relates to a Cruiserweight fight? De Leon arugably beat Broner, and regardless of how you scored it, the fact that is was as close as it was doesn't really bode well for Adrien Broner. Ponce, at SFW is very average.

    Exactly.

Ricky has done very little on the 'World' scene (unless you count a top ten Martinez, only top ten because the division was/is truly abysmal) but, on aesthetics alone, he should be able to cope with Broner, who, on aesthetics alone, is average (and that's being generous)

broner is no superhero! he proved that against de ponce! ok he bet de ponce but he was no superman. two judges had him 2up and the 3rd judge had broner 9up (if i remember rightly) thats yankee doodle judging for you.
burns has matured into a good enough fighter to showdown with broner. i would prefer to see the fight out of the usa,but money talks.
theres no reason why ricky burns aint up to the job of adrien broner.
i know for sure ill be cheering ricky burns
also agree with sportsleader. broner at this weight isnt as good as when hes a little heavier
