1st: Easily a Broner round. Willie started off well, popping some jabs through the guard and slotting in some rights down low. Broner began to move a tad after the opening sequences, continuously catching Kickett with the counter left hook. He became very predictable but Kickett didn't seem to have the smarts to realise it, and kept getting clocked.

2nd: Huge improvement from Cool Willie, actually made an adaptation to the way he went about his work. Threw combinations of the jab and slipped out of the way while throwing. Landed the right hand with as much regularity in this round as Broner landed the left hook in the last. Interesting to see Broner not barking when he throws here, though his combinations are still as ineffective as always, flashy but not landing.

No Round 3?

4th: Kickett continues to make things difficult by fighting more compact and not giving Broner the countering opportunities by throwing single shots from too far back. Back and forth a bit, Kickett lands his jab regularly and they trade left hooks and right hands, the more imposing certainly coming from the Australian, as well as the amount landed. Broner finishes the round by getting caught with two good shots and looking a bit clueless.

5th: Broner begins barkingroll and, as is his custom, missing jabs with regularity as a result, hitting everything but Kickett's head. Kickett's still doing well, landing his jab and the right hand that often follows it, but is once again going back to leaving himself open to the left hook that little bit too much. He gets made to pay for it at the tail-end of the round by over-extending when he throes, gets caught, dropped and hurt by a counter left hook(incidentally the only punch Broner seems to know how to land).

6th: Nothing much to tell, Willie's clearly not recovered from the knockdown in the previous round and as a result gets dominated, actually getting caught by Broner's jab. Broner doesn't take many risks and is comfortable in just dominating from range, mixing the odd left hook in with his plethora of jabs, before bursting in the last ten seconds, leaping in and finishing off the dazed and bewildered Kickett.

There's no round 3 there, but for me Kickett easily took the second and the fourth, and considering he seemed to really be in a rhythm I'd assume the third, and was taking the fifth up until being dropped. Out of the four completed rounds I saw from the six, Kickett won two, Broner won two(with a KD) and then of course there was the stoppage.

Decided to sit back, relax & watch this thread evolve.

Some hilarious stuff from the burns haters going on here, after trying to devalue martinez, its now 'Broner isnt all that either'

Im loving it TBH, just shows how much the haters are hurting when they can still moan about the Rickster going into an americans hometown on HBO, but hey? what can I say?

It doesnt have to hurt that way, you only got yourselves to blame!!!
