I got it on ROKU for a year, and it cost $12 a year. For a channel that put on around half a dozen good cards last year, the deal is well worth it.
good question I've been a fence sitter on this one with so many belts in boxing, it doesn't take much for wannabe world champions to get pulled down a notch (cleverly, bute), so I think this fight has more to do with burns' mentality going into the fight than anything else he's clearly not the elite fighter his team would like him to be, but like you say, Crawford hasn't proved himself a world beater. burns has resilience and that's a plus from getting through the last 2 fights he's had, but he's looked very ordinary at best and one dimensional too I don't rate either, but I think it'll be a good mash up
First off I'd like to point out I am Scottish AND a Burns fan :hi: However. Just to add some meat to the bones on Burns last two outings. Gonzalez was a quality operator, classy boxer of that there is no doubt. So much so that they are trying to get him over for sparring for this camp. And Ricky openly admits now that he believe's (without taking anything away from Chelo) that he overtrained. He went through THREE full camps (thank Frank ******) yes THREE with no fight at the end. I think this would affect any boxer in this day and age. And Chelo won the first half of that fight, no dubt. But Ricky's conditioning between camps got him through that, he's one tough champion. Beltran - Ricky looked sharp first two rounds, was too fast for Beltran. Then Ray broke his jaw so he went into survival mode for 10 rounds, game plan went out the window. Again not the real Ricky we saw. I should also state I think Beltran won the fight. But for all the US guys looking at Ricky in his last two fights and saying 'career's over' etc then I'm just trying to shed some light on what he's faced in recent fights. This camp, he hasn't over trained. He's on schedule. Team Burns can get plenty of footage of Crawford (unlike Gonzalez). So I am looking forward to seeing Ricky Burns back to his blistering best and for folk to sit up and take notice of him again. :good
respect for calling how you saw it :good I admit I get a bit skeptical with some posters, but you've put yourself out there as an open book
I don't come in here often I'm normally in the British but have the odd browse to be honest. I'm not here to troll mate I just like my boxing and as said I'm a big Ricky fan, he's local to me. That said, if Crawford wins there is no excuses and he'll get a round of applause from myself. To beat Ricky in Glasgow you have to be very very good. Beltran nearly done it but it WAS a lot closer than most people think albeit Ricky had a broken jaw for 10 rounds. I'm looking forward to it.
Everyone is talking about robberies and Burns, it happened once ffs. It isn't like robberies never happen in America or Canada or Germany or Russia etc etc. ...and don't even bring up Gonzalez - he chose to quit, blame him.
