Garcka is the bigger fighter, hands up orthodox stance, works behind a jab but early on you sense he's feeling his opponent out. Just pawing with the jab. Lontchi is almost exclusively on the back foot, bravely comes forward now and then to launch a quick attack before looking to get out but hasn't really landed anything. Ooh! Garcia lands a right hand through Lontchi's high guard that pushes him backwards and off balance.

Garcia took the 2nd as well, pretty quiet round. Lontchi has surprisingly fast hands.

 

Garcia is nothing flashy - no blazing handspeed or concussive power but he's a tidy boxer. Keeps his hands up, nice jab, moves his feet well to avoid punches. He doesn't over exert himself - just slightly moves to the side to avoid a punch, if a punch can't be landed he doesn't waste energy throwing power shots just sticks to the jab. And if he can't get the jab through cleanly he just paws with it to keep his opponent thinking. And there was a moment where he had Lontchi against the ropes and almost instantly transformed from patient boxer to agressive puncher, letting his hands go furiously landing nearly all of them.

Nice right hand and Lontchi is down!!! Gets up and Garcia goes into 'killer mode' trapping Lontchi against the ropes and dropping him again with a barrage of punches. Ref begins the count but Lontchi got caught in the eye or something and doesn't want to get up.

Garcia KO5 as the ref reached the count of 10 though Lontchi wasn't 'out'

Definitely one to keep an eye on.

 

He throws a nice left hook to the body for someone his height.

 

How far do you think he goes Gaz? First time I've properly seen him, the others were early KO's. Impressed me for sure.
