Fell asleep after Donaire had finished and woke up just as they were announcing the Soto decision.

That was a really solid card last night and if Chavez had not got sick it would have being even better.

Arum confirmed afterwards that Soto-Rios is on but February might be too soon so maybe March or April. He also said that on the undercard Miguel Vazquez (IBF champ) would fight Antillon and the winner of both fights would meet in a unification. Hopefully that happens :happy

Anyone catch the Alvarez fight? Reports say he won a near shutout, don't know how he looked.

You missed a great fight. It was a better version of Marquez/Katsidis.

Went to sleep for Alvarez. Couldn't be bothered.

Murray would get smashed by any of the above IMO.

When the **** is Chris John fighting? His opponent, on paper, is worse than feather fisted, he punches like a 5 year old girl by the sounds of it :rofl

Vazquez is the dark horse in the division IMO.

Am I the only one who isn't overly impressed by Miguel Garcia?

Garcia seems the goods to me. The maturity he displays in the ring for a 22 year old is outstanding and he's impressively dispatched with solid gatekeeper types in Lontchi, Lock and Villa.

I'm reading now on the scene that Garcia's manager Cameron Dunkin wants a JuanMa fight around September next year!

Too early I'd say, he's still young and 2011 should be his last 'learning' year before going for world honours the year after. Next year he should look to fight people like Guty Espadas Jr, Bernabe Concepcion and Yordan.
