Burns/Khan at 140?

Discussion in 'British Boxing Forum' started by gazanta, Feb 7, 2012.

  1. I think Khan's feet would win him this fight..... Burns doesn't really have a way to win it, but it's certainly not a mismatch.

This is no mismatch, Khan has been in big trouble, and beaten against lesser fighters than Burns.

Id have the fight 60/40 in Khans favour, but the simple fact is Khan is simply no where near as good as people rate him

Burns is brave to hang there up at LW but he is also lucky to be a champ there and Khan is too big and just as fast if not faster.

He would take him by TKO.

WTF???? Khan would blast Burns out within 6 imo. Its Burns who gets hyped up to much on this site. He beat a hype job Martinez, Kats who lost every time he stepped up to world level oh and made two or three **** defences against fwank bums. I said Mitchell would stop Murray and imo he will do a number on Burns. Better boxer with more power.

Are we talking about a "well prepared" Khan?

I'll just sit here and wait for Billy Nelson to jump on the thread and tell us they sparred for two days once and Ricky got the better of it and therefore it would be a rather easy night.

Really? I'm not certain that with wins over Martinez (<Abril) and Katsidis (<Khan KO1) makes Burns any better than Prescott myself.

Obviously, he looks better, but I think Ricky is winging it at world level. God bless him, really like the lad but he's getting through on pure hard work and good matchmaking at the mo' IMO.

Ricky would take a fight with Amir tommorow given the chance,i trained Willie Limmond when he was very unlucky against Amir and i thought Willie had a great gameplan, i beleive Ricky could match Amir's speed and defo match his workrate so hed be in with a great shout imo waiting on phone call lol.

Khan is a generous man, Burns purse for this fight would be about £15.89 and a Yorkie (King size!)

    Great business men, Team Khan!
