Burns/Laryea, Cotto/Mayorga, Lee/McEwan & Martinez/Dzinziruk RbR!

Uchiyama definitely has speed on Burns from what I'm watching so far. I don't know why I'm watching it though, as they're gonna fight that 37 year old African guy.

 

TFFP, I may be wrong because its dragged on over so many pages now but I think HH just wants to know who was your pick for the Martinez-Burns fight....rather than a lecture on Nicky Cooks gatekeeping abilities....;O)

 

its a money earner for burns and he deserves it...ok he fought a guy who was awkward and made him look bad....box any novice and he will catch you, because he don,t no how to fight and throws punches that are not expected from a class fighter.I would rather fight a seasoned pro than some novice who has no ring class.Was **** fight, corner should have sorted it early. either ricky doesnt listen or billy isnt is great as he thinks he is.

 

I have no idea if I picked that fight so you'd have to check for yourself if I did. I suppose I'm going to get the wise comments now, but the fact is I don't pick loads of fights as I simply can't be arsed and nobody picks every fight. What I did do is raise doubts about the highly overrated Martinez which turned out to be correct regardless of whether I picked or who I picked.

By the way this is all on record, but I suppose that doesn't matter. Just talk **** guys, always the best way.

 

You've noticed that as well eh? He's pretty good with his picks but he also claims a lot of "I knew that was going to happen" wins when he hasn't made a pick before the fight!!

 

I think Burns looked like a world class operator .Degale looked quality no offence even better because he was fighting a tomato can .Burns tho is in top condition and his skills good ( Ricky Hatton torso ) Deserves props .Look at Hatton Tszyu made Hatton a superstar .If Burns had a bit more pop man but I think he's still got the tools to operate at the top level .

 

TFFP thought Martinez would win, therefore TFFP rated Martinez, therefore TFFP overrated Martinez! :yep

You guys do recognise that 'Martinez is perhaps not what people are saying he is' as an analysis is not automatically related to picking a fight, right?

We may as well say, analysis does not matter on this forum. You could describe a fight and say virtually everything wrong, but as long as the pick was correct at the bottom you are a winner.
