Miguel never had a gameplan set down so early on he was adapting. He looked bit stiff early on but as it wore on he slipped and slided at times beautifully. Mayorga was still dangerous even at 38 and enjoyed success. Not a easy guy to face and like way Miguel went to task. Some good work and at times lost his way briefly but kept calm and did a pretty decent job.

It was a good fight to take. Someone who hits hard and aggressive and makes you work.

Mayorga was class at end of fight and i got feeling that left hook caused an issue to him cos i still can't see where he hurt hand. His face at end was smashed up.

Cotto did well. Cotto will let Bob his promoter do his job and pick his opponent lol.

No way will they put Alvarez in with Cotto yet. Can't see Bob Arum being keen to make that either. It'd be a good fight but I still think Miguel Cotto has too much in him at this stage.

If not Alvarez who next for Cotto? Can't see the point of him going to 160. I guess it'll be Cotto-Margarito II. Another payday that scumbag doesn't deserve.

Although as I say, I'd like Martinez to lay waste to him.

Nah, there's little chance of Alvarez vs Cotto with the conflict between GBP and Arum.

Gotta say, Arum is really kicking GBP's ass at the minute.

cotto-margarito 2 just has to be made next.

    forget alvarez for now.

cotto has unfinished business on that one.

see more chance of cotto-margo coming off anyway.

same promoters and all that. ;)

Probably Wolak or Margo then. Both fairly uninspiring IMO. Although the latter will be very exciting.

Cintron for Cotto? Kermit is undeserving of another big fight IMO.

There isn't really anyone that Cotto hasn't fought of note in and around those weight classes...... apart from Mayweather who ''retired'' to avoid him.

I think it'll be Margarito again, there's an angle for that one and their styles blend.

I'd rather see that than Kermit the Frog or rematches against Clottey (who is equally undeserving) or Pacquiao.

Cotto/Margarito II will probably be on July 16 going by the reports.
