:yep He even said something like "you make your legacy fighting regularly and then eventually the big fights and unifications will come". Obviously wants Burns to go down the Cleverly route for now. Next fight in December, can't expect anyone special for that.

Still think Munroe would beat Frampton good performance tonight but that was a shell of a man he was fighting.

Im not sure what Rendall has ever produced to warrant such a prediction

He's just a decent world level fighter, Frampton is a destructive boxer / puncher, he would test him i agree but how does he beat him ?, i cant think of an area where Munroe has an edge apart from experience

Frampton looked quality tonight. His footwork against a southpaw was spot on don't think he let Molitor get his way for a second there. I know Molitor was on the down side but that was still going to be a tricky fight. Honestly don't think a prime Molitor would of lasted with that the way Carl started didn't give him a second. Everything seemed to work from his feints to his footwork and he had a great right hand working all night. Completely dominated Molitor. Puts him apart from Munroe and Quigg. Although i still think Munroe holds the best win over that Mexican.

I should of stuck with my original pick, i was constantly saying Burns would TKO Mitchell.

I was influenced by the weigh in, and afew posters on here strangely enough.

Just watched the Frampton fight & it was a good performance by Carl. I was impressed by his improving footspeed & overall mobility, he barely used the jab & was a bit right-hand happy but those were the tactics & they worked to a tee.

Molitor looked like a spent force, he had no confidence & poor balance but Frampton did well to dominate such an experienced operator. It will be interesting to see who he fights next & I still think he'll have a stylistic problem with rangy boxers with a good jab but time will tell. On that form I'd back Frampton to beat the winner of Monroe-Quigg but it would be a lot more competitive than last night.

It was a decent stoppage imo, Mitchell's legs had completely gone & he was defenseless, only the ropes were holding him up.

It doesnt matter how long is left in the round (I think it was about 20 sec) its the ref's job to protect the fighters & Mitchell was helpless.
