Well that's fine. But Burns has next to no chance of getting a fight against any of the elite in the division. So a fight with Mitchell would be an interesting enough domestic fight.

    What made you think that?

They should get Julie Fowlis or someone to sing that.

    :rofl

It was a good win, just quite dull. Fighting on the outside, jabbing away, while lacking power is not really something that gets people excited. That, along with the fact that he's a quite, no nonsense guy means he probably won't ever become a big star.

Being a belt holder doesn't make anyone elite. But even if Burns was elite, he still doesn't have anywhere near enough pulling power to get another elite opponent to fight him, yet.

Maybe he should've fought Broner if he wanted that :think

Maybe but Broner is ****ing making a name of smashing tomato cans who has the better record on paper Burns or Broner?
I think Burns would of given Broner a real run for his money i dont think Broner would be getting his comb out after that bout..

I'm disappointed in Tanada's progress. When I watched him deck former Japanese champion Fukuhara as an 18-year old, I expected him to push on really. He has been matched hard, but he shouldn't have lost to Nakamura and he got beat clearly tonight. It seems to me that the OPBF title he won against the aforementioned Fukuhara will be his pinnacle, sadly.

Thats the 1st time Ive seen him. He can certainly take a good punch, he was game to the end & still swinging at the bell.

Rodriguez boxed his ears off & landed some huge shots. The crowd were going wild, by the time Lopez fights that place will be absolutely rocking :bbb

You said in your previous post Burns has no chance of facing the elite of the division. Burns is one of the elite of the division. Moses was not far off being among the elite - beating him handily confirms Burns' position among the elite rather than detracting from it.
