Thats impossible I'm afraid, you cant eat words. You can be humbled, and i can assure you, that wont be me.

You know, sometimes when I sit and I think about this possible fight, and I try to see Ricky Burns winning, I just laugh. Its that unreal, I laugh, its laughable. It just aint gonna happen. Broner will not lose this fight, if there was even a SNIFF that, that was even the smallest possibility

    1) He and his team wouldnt even mention his name, and if they did they would be defensive and of topic (just look at Floyd Mayweather on Pacquiao)

    and

    2) They'd be ducking him left right and center and fighting lesser opposition instead.

But that is simply not the case, the problem lies at the feet of Ricky Burns promotion and matchmaking. This fight could have been made and set in stone a while back, the fact that it hasnt, tells me Ricky Burns' team is very reluctant at this moment in time, and if either fighter is doing number 2, its Ricky Burns, although I dont think he is ducking, he is being made to fight nobodies. Yet Adrien Broner whilst not getting the Burns fight, aint fighting nobodies is he? He has just beat De Marco for the WBC....Ricky Burns aint fought anyone of that stature at Lightweight.

They are thinking onwards and upwards the money team, and their actions show that.

Can we say the same for Ricky Burns' promotion?

They are operating on different planets these teams and thats why this fight is being delayed.

Yeah fair enough but, I'm no expert but a fighter in his prime needs to be fighting, 6 months is ridiculous and mainly for the fighter.

I'm a fan, I want to see him fighting in good fights from now.

Maybe it's Jason Litzau? Michael Collins on the front page says that Burns would struggle to beat him :lol:

    :good:lol:

I don't think Heinz put the letters in to spell the words in a sentence saying.

    "Ricky Burns beats Adrien Broner"

Seriously, when I sit back and think of anyway Ricky Burns can beat Adrien Broner, I just chuckle. It just aint gonna happen, this aint any other fighter, I've said this before. This is the heir to the Mayweather HBO throne. And his team round him will make sure he goes undefeated. They wouldnt want Ricky Burns at all right now if that wasnt the case, the fact that they DO want the fight and are very verbal, tells me there is no way Ricky Burns will beat Adrien Broner. If they didnt want the fight, they'd say he is doing PED's and delay the fight until Ricky has been beat and washed up and just keep fighting nobody bums ducking the questions :good

I've seen it and heard it all before. They run this sport, like Sly run football in this country. You better believe it, because thats the way it is!

Obviously this means the Broner fight isn't happening in May. **** sake.

I'm going to put it out there; if this fight happens in March and isn't against a Vazquez/Abril type opponent then I'm going to lose a lot of respect for Burns. Whether it's his doing or those in his promotional/management team it doesn't matter, the fact is that he's avoiding Broner like the plague.
