Talk of ricky going wbc route and after omar figuerero. Omar is underated and comes forward non stop and throws lots of punches and hits very hard i dont think he would be a good fit for ricky. I think we would see burns getting stopped

I think that fit suits Ricky more than the slick styles of Crawford, Vazquez and Abril. Look at the Katsidis fight another guy who walks forward throwing bombs Ricky tucked up his defence was perfect that night and he picked his moments to throw his shots. I'm not saying Katsidis is as good as Figueroa but it's definitely a better style matchup for Ricky than any of the others.

Without sounding like Im bashing Ricky, Im not, I think they could reincarnate Cus D"Amato to train him and Ricky will fall short against the best of the best.

He's been thoroughly outclassed a few times now, so I understand the change, its as much psychological as anything else. Any athlete who has failed needs to get over that failure, and making a change can restore self belief, basically leaving the reason for failure behind with the change(Im not saying for one second Billy was the reason, he wasn't, and that will be proved).

Its a bit like Torres, I personally think he is done, but he's most certainly done at Chelsea as he's failing week after week, now the reasons for him going from being arguably the worlds best striker to one who looks like he's never seen a ball before aren't physical, they're psychological, and until he can change that he'll have no chance of recovering form.

I got quite badly injured once, came back and did quite well then couldn't get my form back, I was advised by a sports psychologist to move club as I had mental hurdles that I had to get over and a change would do it quicker than the time needed to overcome them with time and his help. He was right.
