Rees was just executed by Broner... that's what's wrong with it.

I think Matchroom will still see a bit of value in Rees at domestic and Euro level, feeding him to Burns would be a surprise to me.

IMO it'll be a foreigner with a pretty looking record, along the lines of 30-1 (28), probably an Argie who'll come and throw a few bombs before falling over through exhaustion.

Nothing, but I can imagine how it might come about.

A certain promoter and his new signing are sitting in the office watching Broner V Rees on the VHS player. After the fight, the promoter says, "What do you think?"

Boxer: "I'm ready for him, let's get it on".

Promoter: "Ok, I'll ring Broner's people right away, it's the fight everybody in Britain wants"

Boxer: "Err, actually I was talking about Rees"

I think he probably would fight Broner if he got a good enough offer but he probably doesn't want it enough to really chase it. Ricky and Billy Nelson probably want it to some extent but I doubt anybody else in his team does.

The way Billy Nelson was talking, it sounds like they want to keep Burns fighting in Scotland forever more, which probably means no Broner fight, and probably no unification at all.

We could be looking at a lengthy WBO "Reign of Terror"...

Dont blame them if they're not exactly chasing Broner, though sure Burns would fight him if he had to.The Vasquez situation seems a bit hazy so won't go there, thats probably gone anyway. But Gavin for his next fight, off a loss?Creditable show, but he's been beating British and European level men.Last world class was when he won the title. The Mexican Jonsey mentioned could be interesting,Ricky might have to fight him, presumably.

so is there any news of his next opponent, will it be a live one or just some pushover.

Broner fight has gone, bet Rickey is pleased about that really, Broner would have destroyed him
