your point may stand regarding the venue, but the previous poster banged you to rights regarding your comments, totally uncalled for and this is a boxing website for **** sake.

as for Broomfield, the public transport links are worse than the Braehead Arena.

kelvin hall is a great venue however it is a dry venue, no alcohol allowed to be sold which hits all involved in the pocket

i think the he wants it in Airdrie because it's next door to coatbridge, you would easily draw all the coatbridge folk who weren't even in to boxing over there in their masses for such a big fight on such a big a occasion.

Drop the prices down to 30 quid seats and put on a really good card, with a couple of other title fights, at least one involving a Scottish fighter like John Simpson and maybe someone like Frankie Gavin.

you could hold it at the SECC.

if it was going to be at football stadium then I'd prefer it being at Hibs or Hearts in Edinburgh. Transport links are better, especially for any fans coming up from England.

at least I don't have to result to sectarian comments though :happy

Hearts would be good simply because its an old fashioned stadium right on top of the action, plus there's a few pubs close by.
