I'd say the originally rumour is likely incorrect. Seems far fetched that an agreement with Fana would be in place for the fight never mind having got to the stage of booking the venue.

The idea of Broomfield is spot on in my opinion. Very excessable for the core of burns support in coatbridge. No real better option in glasgow, CP, hampden and ibrox are too big, firhill doesn't really serve any better purpose that Broomfield so the only real option in glasgow is the kelvin.

Broomfield would be great, packed out if the ticket prices where reasonable IMO.

I was at the Evenson fight, will prob go to this too. I can't see him being able to get anywhere near that crowd numbers though.

I not sure Scotland is the place to hold a open air event as our weather is so unpredictable
so I would think that if this is going to happen then maybe at the big hall at the kelvin hall would be a better option

Burns said he lives 5 minutes from Airdries ground so it would be great to have it there for him.

I talk with the owner of Airdree football club when she comes in my work, i`m not in Glasgow at the moment when I return and she is in I will find out. She is a lovley lady. Her daughter takes care of it to now her husband died a couple year ago I think.

Burns was in the papers on Monday saying Fana's team had been in touch with Morrison saying they want to fight him and would have it in Scotland.

If they're looking for a big show the SECC set up for 9,000 would be great, and there is no way I can see it getting a bigger crowd than that.

That would be a great setting for a fight.

    SECC is a realistic option.

Secc with 9000 sounds good. Weather too dodgy for a stadium fight!!!

I have no doubt that they'll be in negotiations with Fana just don't think they will be at the stage of booking the venue, could be wrong.

SECC is a good shout, canny mind the last time there was a big fight there. Did harrison ever do it? I do think he is more likely to sell out Airdrie though than anywhere else. Half Coatbridge would go to that if the price was reasonable.
