So you have a problem being beaten by an elite fighter in Crawford, no lightweight in this country would go 12 rounds with him imo
Campbell would do a far, far better job. For starters he'd actually try to win the fight. That in itself would be a massive improvement on the Burns performance.
Burns was pretty restricted on what he could do in the Crawford fight. Should he have took chances when he knew Crawford was going to capitalise? He was out of this depth with a true P4P fighter :bbb Burns assets were his speed and combos. It looks like age has taken it's toll and he is slowing down dramatically.
Sadly for Ricky the sun is setting on his career and he's now in the realms of gate keeper as opposed to contender, there are some interesting lucrative domestic contests on the horizon in the near future, however 2 or 3 of the current/emerging players will prove too much for him
