Burns v Crolla next ffs

Bottom line is that boxing is surrounded by bull and the way sky bigged it up when Crolla fought Rees and that it's been mentioned from other sources aswell makes me think the fight will happen.

Shame cos Burns doesnt need it but I can see it happening , I know Billy is against it but he doesnt make the decisions.

 

We also as fans tend to forget that this is a business, a pro boxers career is very short,if you have any title you must cash in on it whilst you can.If I was a world champ,hah! I would fight Eddies granny/cat if the money was right.I would rather be able to sit in comfort in my villa in Majorca for the next 40 years than be remembered for my glowing but short lived record.......and we forget the lad has achieved brilliantly already.

 

Very old news, but your right. Anyway, can see Beltran beating Burns if he turns up like he did V Gonzalez.

 

Genuine question here Billy, how does Ricky feel about the way things are going match up wise ? From a possible unification with Vazquez, the other 'top dog' in the division now Broner seems to have moved on, to fighting a fringe world level opponent in Beltran ? Raymundo is tough, but if we are being realistic that's what he is. Now he is being linked with a meaningless defence against a domestic level fighter in Crolla ? Does he feel the move has paid off ? Or was finance his main motive ?

 

The only way Ricky Burns should fight Crolla is if he loses his world title and needs an easy comeback fight.
