burns wins in comfort just the same way mathew hatton won last friday in bolton being fed people that any boxing fan as never read about or seen on tv its all a screen by the promoter to put bums on seats and the promoter gains every time, alex arthur is the best super feather in scotland and would 100per cent beat ricky burns if he was given the correct time to train and make the weight for the fight ricky burns is boring you just know when your watching him that its going the distance and grabbing and holding all the time.

Evensen ain't that bad, seen a bit of him. Relentless strong looking featherweight that is stepping up i believed. He moves head and looks to jab and fient way in and let go of his hands. Doesn't cut ring off that well and i think once he starts missing he will unravel and his flaws will show up.

He a typical pressure fighter (Nothing outstanding just decent) and will be game but he does leave body open to shots and i can Ricky using lot of lateral movement and landing sharp shots to body and head and off at angle. Ricky's right hand was like laser against Martinez and i think Evensen will get hurt late on by accumulation and will unravel around 8th or 9th round in a brave challenge and decent bout.

No Brain Jako Arthur can't make SFW, Even when Ricky goes up to Lightweight he would beat Alex Arthur, the hope is Ricky moves up still world champ and fights a LW champion so there will be little chance of meeting Alex at that level imo.

Burns will win by decision. Probably about 9-3 in rounds

I would love to see Arthur v Burns at light weight, it could happen if Arthur keeps winning and Burns moves up. If Arthur can get back to his old self I think he would beat Burns.

Quite a few of you are saying UD to Burns.......

Just thinking whether I should have money on the UD 2.5 with skybet and Stoppage (KO/TKO/Tech Decision) 2.75 with ladbrokes to cover myself....

It wont be a massive bet, £50-£100.

Arctic snowstorm takes over Scotland - Burns will freeze when ice hard Andreas gets his relentless inside-fighting going.

Seriously - Evensen is huge underdog and had been picked only to lose to Burns. I´ve seen Andreas fights and like him a lot. What´s betting odds with this bout - 10-1?

This will be a tough fight. Evensen has very good stamina and applies great pressure, but I fear that Burns will be able to counter his punches and outpoint him.

I think it will be a decision for Burns, but I'm hoping for a TKO for Evensen!

Burns is a good fighter and he did well beating martinez but i'm pretty sure his next 6 defences will be against sub-level competition the only way i'll respect burns more is if he mans up and proves that beating martinez wasnt a 1 off and demands frank to give him tougher fights perhaps fighting some1 like jason litzau or the winner of solis-takashi but knowing burns and his management im sure they'll play it safe there are plenty of bums at 130 for him to beat up.he'll likely fight the domestic chumps like the prize fighter champion, foster jr,liam walsh, anthony corolla etc

knowing burns? The man fought The British Champion at the weight above in his 10th fight, the European Champion in his fourteenth fight and then Carl Johannson. Hardly padding his record :huh
