    He should move up to 130. He can definitely win a belt there. Gamboa vs Broner is a serious bout. Uchiyama and Ao probably won't fight out of Japan. Salgado may leave Mexico. Tough having so many foreign champs but Broner is a big match up and the speed and power on display could be incredible.

    thats what i thought, but according to twitter he was intalks about a rios fight, cant see that happening with rios' weight issues

    I think Gamboa is mentioning his name for publicity and bigger money. The same way Rios mentions Ortiz and Pac. People do the same with Gamboas name and Khans name. They get into an article or two and try and become a bit more relevant even though the fight is unrealistic. Gamboa should only be thinking about the best in his division and if he is moving up then think about the best at 130.

    It's a hard sell to move up 2 divisions (especially for the smaller guys) and try and justify a world title shot. If Gamboa wins a title at 130 and Rios is still around then it can sell.

    he has fought in Germany and Turkey before, I'm sure he would travel if the right offer was made
