As they picked up on in commentary he was trying too hard to land knock out shots rather than box smartly. All credit to Barrett though, used his tools brilliantly and Cardle couldn't find the answer, just standing in range eating the straight shots.
I'm actually happy as I have always thought Cardle was overrated and lost all respect for him the way he behaved over the Dodd "wins". I would like to see a rematch though was a decent fight.

He ruined my bet aswell I had him on to win on points because I also thought he'd be handed the win if it went to the cards.

I thought the Cardle fight was entertaining and Indongo fight was a breakthrough for a talented African southpaw. Edwards looked decent too and Kelly tried to put on a show. Have seen much worse matchroom cards.
