Dunky you are boring as ****. You think the whole world is against Burns, and you blindly think you have some sort of connection with Billy Nelson. Your bias as Buncey would say is "staggering"

Well that point would have merit if the division had a single internet forum poster competing in it. But it has a similar amount as other divisions. There's still a group of boxers on top of a division with 1186 professional boxers actively competing in it. It isn't exactly like comparing Barcelona to the First Division winners. More like comparing the Premiership with the Bundesliga.

I'm not discussing Ricky Burns. So get the out of your head. I'm discussing your definition of "world class".

I never said he was numero uno. After Uchiyama, who's win over high flying Salgado is superior than anything Martinez is done. You could make an argument for a few fighters for #2 spot. Who would you have had ahead of Martinez prior to his loss to Burns?

its a legit fight anyone who says otherwise in on crack.
Its a baptism of fire at the top level for burns. I think if he boxes uses his height and uses the jab he can break Kats down but hes going to have weather a storm first and while Katsides can be a little one handed at times the pressure and power he uses can take thier toll on anyone. I love watching Katsides fight and it will be interesting to see how burns does because of paper he doesnt have massive power but will his own strengh and boxing ability be enough to deter kastsides

Everyone seems to have their own definitions. ''World class'' to me indicates that you're a certain calibre of fighter, a calibre I don't think anyone at 130lbs has reached yet.

I'd consider the likes of Uchiyama, Burns, etc world class super featherweights, but I don't put them in a ''world class'' in general category. Being at the top of a poor division shouldn't make you a better by default.

LOL @ Dunky, he really does believe the whole Brit Forum want's Burn's to lose doesn't he?

I'd say the usual what everbody else has said, about Burns being liked and they just think Katsidis is too much going on the evidence we have, but it'll just fly over his head like every other thing does

What is your definition of legit? If Burns wasn't British nobody in the boxing world would know his name and he would simply be just one of the millions of fighters listed on boxrec. From a class standpoint he is just a step up from the tomato can.

His jab is not going to be enough to stop Katsidis from charging in and overwhelming him. Shocked if this was anything other then a one sided beating.

This just gets funnier! Burns has went on this thread from world class to european level to unknown boxer tomato can level, even though his Martinez win was a ring magazine fight of the year candidate

    Keep 'em coming lads:rofl
