Never said the whole forum wants Burns to lose Davew. All I am saying is that for a 'brit'? He certainly aint treated like one by many of his fellow 'brits' here, thats for sure, theres a difference you know;)

When Burns puts the Kat to sleep though Im sure Ricky will be more a 'brit' here suddenly & Mr Nelson will be getting pats on the back aplenty from the gloryhunting brigade who will change their tune once this ones over & Ricky has Kats scalp on his resume:smoke

Its the way here you see...

Many people want to see Burn's win though, they just don't believe he will. For example i want to see Froch win Ward in December but i doubt it'll happen.

The difference is we don't have McCracken on here blabbering **** the same way Billy does. Billy is entitled to root for his own man that's understandable, but he does it in such a way, people want to see Ricky lose, and that's not fair on Ricky.

Wether Burn's win's or loses, he'll still be backed on these forum's, just if he does lose, i can probably guess there'll be a thread set up in Billy's honour

It wasn't the fight mate, just the 'Froch to win Ward' bit. Should be 'Froch to beat Ward'. No need to thank me ;)

why do people bother with dunky. i have him on ignore for quite some time. the guy is a complete tosser and adds nothing to the board. in fact, he makes people want to see scottish fighters lose even more. he has no depth to his posts and just comes on to big up scottish fighters. burns could be fighting khan and dunky would still be saying he will win. if katsidis was scottish and burns was austrlaian, dunky would be picking katsidis.

the chap is a useless poster.

    put him on ignore lads

This fight will be exciting. I think Katsidis takes it. Burns was hurt a few times and down 3 or 4 times vs Carl Johanneson a few years ago. Body and head shots. He was also down vs Martinez and was hurt on a few occasions in the fight. I think he will be caught and finished by Katsidis. Katsidis will mix up coming forward with moving around the ring. When he is up close he will be exploding with body shots and head shots. The left hook could be the punch that gets Burns in trouble. In order to win this fight Burns needs to get Katsidis respect with his power (I question whether he has the power at this weight to keep Mick Katsidis off him), he also has to not let Katsidis get close and fire away (I have seen Burns fight toe to toe in most of his fights at some point), he also has to stay off the ropes and not be a static target (again, he tends to do this). Burns won't have fought anyone with this level of controlled intensity and he won't have felt punches this hard. Katsidis is a very good finisher also. This one should go to Katsidis by KO.

I've been misquoted!!! I clearly stated he is a step up from the tomato can level. lol

On a serious level who is Roman Martinez and why is that victory taken as some kind of sign Burns is legitimate? The guy struggled against Cook and has a British style resume. He was never anybody, just an opponent cooked up for the British hype scene.
