The more I see ricky the more I think he can win this. Broner could be very good but is stuck trying to imitate Floyd he's a much better offensive fighter than he is a counter puncher. Would like to see how he deals with the size of ricky. At the minute I'd fancy Broner but i'm done writing Ricky off after the kats fight

    Mitchell>>>Any win of Broner's

Broner wouldn't be the bigger man, and that would cost him this fight.

  7. Broner is far too slick.

No man below 140 is beating him, he's P4P material

Broner is far from slick.he try's to show the shoulder defence but it wouldn't work against someone that hit's back, feck someone who can match him for size.

With fair judging, I really do believe that Burns would do Broner.

Broner has already shown that he's fallible, and Burns would give him fits. Burns is world class - now he just needs the platform to prove it.

Chin, footwork, fitness, great jab, accuracy, ability to adjust, ring IQ... I think Burns has almost everything. He lacks one punch KO power, but as we saw tonight, his other strengths can compensate for it.

  10. Broner is growing as a fighter and he will adapt to the task at hand.

  11. I see the jocks have been voting.

Trust me, boys. Broner will murder Burns real bad.

Burn is is a terrific fighter.

But has he, like Broner, been shown to be fallible?

Yes he has. By the likes of ... Carl Johanneson.

5 years and 20 fights ago? Burns has improved a ridiculous amount since then.

Just because Broner talks and fight like Mayweather doesnt mean he is.

Since he beat Ponce De Leon who was up at super featherweight, not at his natural weight, struggled with him. Then won the vacate title and since then fought smaller and overmatched guys. He hasnt even beaten a lightweight yet.

I think he is good but way overrated at this point. Ricky Burns could beat him.

I wasn't sure about the Mitchell fight but I think Burns demolishes Broner. Probably takes a few shots early in the fight but his counter punching would see a mid round stoppage.
