Personally, i'm torn. I like Burns - he's a down-to-earth and genuinely humble guy - and hope he can pull it off, but fancy Crawford to get the win. Who are you rooting for and why?
Burns. Hometown fighter, all-round nice guy. Have only seen bits and bobs of Crawford, but he looks a tidy boxer. Perhaps heart ruling head, but I fancy Burns by points. He's a much better boxer than he gets credit for. Certainly the toughest boxer Crawford has fought. Certainly the toughest atnosphere Crawford will ever have fought in too.
Crawford. Nothing whatsoever against Burns, but Crawford's on the way up and there's the potential for some very interesting matchups down the road for him. I think Burns is clearly declining, and he's had his time in the spotlight as champion. I want to see what Crawford can do with the opportunity.
Rooting for Ricky Burns, he seems like a decent chap. I don't dislike Crawford. But I hated the way Max Kellerman was hyping him and hugging his gonads during his last fight. Max said Crawford is exciting, but in truth he has a dull defensive style.
Going for Crawford and I think he will win too.. I don't mind Burns but he deserves to lose for doing Beltran dirty.
Crawford, I'm not a super fan of Crawford, he gets overhyped on here sometimes, but Ricky is more hype than substance IMO. I watched his last couple fights against relatively soft opposition and be barely scraped past the PR guy that gassed and he got his azz kicked against the Mexican contender he fought.
