I presumed it would be on the Katsidis v Mitchell card, but it's looking less and less likely as time goes on. It still could be on, but it's only 6 weeks away now.

I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen the way things are going.

According to Box Rec both Martinez and Burns have fights coming up. Martinez will defend his title against Gonzalo Munguia on the same card as Vasquez-Bedak and Calderon-Casimero (cracking bill if true). And Burns is on the Mitchell-Katsidis card in a ten rounder. Probably agreed to delay the fight for now and allow the guys to see some action, makes more sense then just have these guys on the sidelines whilst an agreement is hammered out.

 

One thing you will notice about 'our' Billy Nelson NO MAS, he never gives us any exclusive info sadly enough, seems us commoners are beneath him:|

The info here is solid enough already, it was reported in the 'scottish' Sun today, & there was even a few quotes from Ricky Burns himself. Sadly enough, I left the copy at my sisters house by mistake, or would have put in the full story & quotes I normally do. Maybe the story is on the Suns website, but I cant be arsed checking:deal
