awright Bugs:good as you say Perez would be a good scalp. ranked in all 4 governing bodies I believe, no-one can complain about this one.

I want Broner next though, much as I love scotty if Broner comes through his next fight with the W I want to see Burns teach him a lesson. Scotty would be big money wise, but the world wants to see that big mouth of Broner being shut, & Burns is the man for the job:smoke Beating Broner would make Burns a superstar, up there with Andy Murray IMO.

I would back Scott Harrison to beat Mitchell, AND Murray. Are you forgetting who Scotty is? Both thesae guys would engage him, & like Brandon Rios, if you fight scottys fight? You will be broken down.

It seems every man & his dog thinks Scott has nothing left cos he couldnt KO a guy who was down in the 1st, and ran for the next 5.atsch

Im used to the Scotty hate on here though, & its always a pleasure when he proves people wrong. Hes did it before, & he will do it again. Mitchell & Murray? pfft. Scotty will make mincemeat of them.

Mitchell has a chance if he boxes, but in a fight against the teak tough tartan terror in front of a charged atmosphere? He will be sucked in at some point. Hes too english not to want to have a war with a jock foe! Murray? Hes already turned down a fight with Scotty, so doesnt look like he fancies the job from the outset.

Glad it's a highly ranked opponent for Ricky, not the best but still a decent fight on Rickys record, i think he needs a slightly easier opponent before Broner anyway and deservedly so after the job he did on Mitchel.

Harrison v Mitchel doesn't worry me, i think Harrison would do well to get Mitchell at this time as Mitchell looks too big between fights and i personally think he will struggle with the weight. Also he will be doubting himself after a heavy loss like that and i just see Harrison eating him.

John Murray for some reason doesn't seem so comfortable for me. Harrison would struggle i think with Murray. It might just be Murrays strength and size but i'm not sure about this one.

However, i don't think any of the above fighters deserve a chance at Ricky yet, especially John Murray. Quite why his name is flying about is beyond me.

 

Harrison looked shocking in his last fight on the Burns under I thought, I would try him in with 1 of these first Derry, Crolla, appleby, Walsh, Johanseen before Mitchell or Murray(who needs a fight soon)

I would put him against that guy the used to call the Clyde blitz Derry smashed in Prizefighter good local fight sells tickets and would be another step because i really think his next loss is his last before retirement or until he becomes an opponent for any above looking tp get a win over a name

 

Robert, surely you take the ****? Scotty was a world champion who didnt lose his title in the ring. He has had 2 wins on his comeback, & John Murray pulled out of a scrap with Scotty, leaving team harrison scrambling around for an opponent.

Now if scotty was old damaged goods, wouldnt he have been the ideal opponent for John Murray? Think about it. No-one wants to fight him, cos hes the scottish Brandon Rios.

To say scotty should fight his way up from the bottom with the resume he has inside & outside of the ring?

what i mean is Scot is not 28 anymore and there is no way he is the same fighter after what he has been through and done to his body. What i mean i he should fight these guys who where no where near his level when he was at his peak get some paydays before he steps up, because i think there no way he beats anyone above European/fringe world level and i think his next loss will be the end of his career.

I don't know the circumstance around the Murray fight and how late he pulled out the fight, and when Harrison weighed in for the fight but he weighed in at 145lb which is what welterweight/light middle weight

 

Harrision is past sorry. Never to hold a world title again.
