    Keep in Mind guys
This has nothing to do with Boxing. These numbers are from Business deals and Endorsements.

Not how much they made fighting.

Why is LeBron #2 at $44 million while Phil Mickelson is #3 at $52 million? Or should I say, they don't seem to be ranked by earnings.

No way it's solely off business deals and endorsements. That's a part of it, but it also encompasses how much you made through your particular sport.

The ranking is not going by how much money they made, but how marketable they are to the general public. Or who was more in the public eye so to speak.

Edit: Taken from the article that was quoted in OP.
That's what they are ranking it on. How much money they earned is a bonus. Why some of the people don't even have how much money they earned but still made the list. It's about how marketable you are and the money you generate for your sport and businesses that endorse you.

    Gotcha.

I don't envision Tiger falling from the #1 spot even after the current mess he's in. Especially if he eventually sweeps the majors in a calendar year like people expect him to (but which he hasn't done).

Yes, Pac loses a lot of of his earnings because of having a 3rd party promoter (Top Rank).

PBF has a 'shell company' (Mayweather Promotions) that allows him to funnel the funds to this company. GBP is paid a flat fee while TR takes a percentage for Pac.

If the 27% is correct, then Pac earned probably around $50 BEFORE Top Rank took its share. This assumes around $35 million is from the fights (purse + PPV earnings).

Did you read the article and point of the rankings?

But then Michael Koncz would be running the show. He'd ensure that Manny is bankrupt by 2015.

    hahahah r u lot dumb???

pac vs floyd a reported 40 mill fight.

marquez vs floyd = 30 mill???

ppl forget that floyd has alot of investment in property and estates and other entertainment franchises.

that was a businessweek earning report not a 'boxing' earning report

all pacquiao knows is boxing, and his lame attempt on politics (expensive business, waste of money)

Thanks ok I thought it didnt make since people were saying its off how much they made fighting when Floyd on Made 15mill and it says here he made 30 that explains alot sucks tho I rather see it seperate
Boxing money is dirty it ruins the sport rather seen straight numbers from business ventures.

just more evidence of how ****ed the business side of boxing is. i mean, it's like that in all sports, but it's definitely not 2 guys making tens of millions while everyone else is in the thousands.
