Billy Douglas was a fine fighter in his own right, rather overlooked these days. He was also one of a number of elements, that brought Buster to the heights that he eventually attained.
Buster hated boxing and always wanted to go into basketball, but his dad forced him into boxing. I think that explains his lazy attitude in a lot of his fights.
