Buster Douglas, Hasim Rahman... Tyson Fury?

Tyson Fury easily could've been a one-hit wonder.

If Wlad and Fury had rematched a couple months after the first fight, there's a good chance Fury would've lost like Rahman and Leon and Buster. Wlad was very motivated. Fury was already out of shape and very overconfident. I recall their press conference where Furry was showing his belly and talking about what a fat man he'd become (although he became MUCH fatter later).

But Fury's been out a while. He seems to have a renewed purpose. And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, Tyson will probably face a nobody in his comeback.

So I don't see him losing right away.

If Rahman, Leon and Buster had fought an unranked nobody in their first defense (which Fury is expected to do), they likely would've continued winning as well.

I think that's what we're going to get from Tyson.

It'll take some time before we know for sure if he's really one of the best heavyweights in the world. Because, compared to Leon, Buster and Rahman, Tyson Fury's performance in the Wlad fight was really poor. Wlad was just worse.

He's really a mystery. I'm glad he's back. He's the best hype man in the business, bar none.

And he's the real champ until he gets knocked off.
