what was it? To me he seemed not that impressive. Fast and mobile perhaps, but just was not in great fights. The only fight of his I saw that certainly was not dull was with Berbick. It was not lacking for action, but Berbick literally could not touch Douglas, he was just way too fast. Thoughts?

I didn’t see the Berbick fight but his match with mike Williams was exciting.

Buster Douglas vs Jesse Ferguson in the semifinals for the ESPN Heavyweight tournament. Both men get stunned on a few occasions. Douglas lands with his patented uppercut while Ferguson worked the body and straight rights.

Hmm, I have always thought of that one as being fairly one-sided.

Thnx for uploading this Sangria. I had looked for any clips of that fight for about six months now and never have turned anything up. It looks like it probably was the best of Douglas' career, aside from Tyson. He was just not a brawler.

Isn't that the one where he dropped Williams twice in one round with jabs?

I enjoyed the fights with Page & Ferguson most. I can post links to those in full of anybody wants. Theres a minute missing here and there, but they're basically in full.

I haven't watched the Berbick fight yet, but I imagine that was either a brilliant fight or performance.

His losing effort against Tony Tucker was a very close fight. And, an excellent showing of skill between two big heavyweights.

You’re right it sorta was. Good performance by Douglas though. I haven’t seen too many of his other fights.

Pretty sure that was on the Tyson-Spinks undercard. I was there and remember being impressed with Big Bus, especially that jab.

I said to myself, ‘One of these days Tyson’s gonna fight this guy in Tokyo and he better be ready.”

Actually I did walk away saying, ‘Anyone with a jab like that could be a handful.’

Has anyone seen Buster-Cobb? I can’t find it anywhere. Sounds like fun to me.

I've looked but can't find it yet. Everything I've read points to it being an admirable performance, not a great fight.

    I love Buster btw

I’d like to see it if anyone every finds it online. Not expecting a classic but, like I said, fun.
